Subject	What is the clear box mounted bythe antenna in the interior?

Message	on a LHD car. I pulled the box off and saw it was connected via wires, still, and noticed it didnt have any wiring that went to the antenna...I've searched but can find any definate answer. I ask because im pulling all the unneccessary sensors and wires.. thanks in advance!
